In the small town of Yountville is one of Thomas Keller’s gems. ad hoc’s decadent, rotating brunch menu is a tremendous way to start your Sunday. For a mere thirty four dollars, we feasted on a few plates served family style. Starting with an arugula salad with shaved fennel, red radish, Fuji apple, toasted walnuts, and a house vinaigrette; corned beef hash with crispy butterball potatoes, ice top carrots, TFL green cabbage and green onions, sweet mini peppers, sunny side up hen eggs, whole grain mustard jus, and multi-grain toast; we added in the chocolate chip pancakes for an additional eight dollars; and finished with a tangerine parfait with coconut cake, tangerine curd, and white chocolate. The Bloody Mary was an added fourteen dollars — but, I heard they were just to die for.
