Willie Mae’s Scotch House

New Orleans’ Kerry Seaton Stewart keeps her great grandmother’s tradition of cookin’ up the tastiest fried chicken alive at Willie Mae’s Scotch House. If you are a lover of fried chicken ($10 for 3 pieces), no other compares. It’s made with a wet batter, a long-time family secret, and love. Thank you to Kerry and her wonderful staff for always being hospitable and the best damn fried chicken cooks in the land.

Dayum Drops just happened to be filming his new show when we arrived … so, I asked him if he’d be willing to snap a photo of him in front of the famous restaurant. He happily obliged and then asked his producer to take one of me + him. Dayum, if you’re out there — I’d love to see that pic.
